Perhaps one of the most crucial valued qualities an artist can have is curiosity, especially when combined with the excitement of child-like curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curiosity enables us to explore the world around us, it is that inner urge to uncover, explore and understand. A childish curiosity can be witty and silly simply because a child’s brain is not yet fully developed until early adulthood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being an adult with the ability to employ child-like curiosity moments into an art form can produce some unexpected and interesting outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most importantly it is very much a fun experiment to explore, an experiment into visual arts that one should use often to unbound oneself of various cultural, societal and psychological bounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the biggest inhibitor of creativity are the bounds that one forces upon oneself, and setting your creativity to fly freely may be a bit of a challenge. One should try from simple things, as an example; watching the rain drops. It may not seem much but we usually look at rain as an annoyance especially for us who live in the city. As a task one should try to look at this “annoyance<\/em>” and turn it around into something beautiful and magical. Just think of how rain forms, the life around us that it facilitates and the sheer beauty of the perfect forms. It is a gift that you should truly appreciate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
