A series on various historic and prominent<\/em> figures and how would they see the world if they were photographers<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would he be using his E = mc2<\/em> formula or move entirely into a new direction? Einstein said about himself that he was a man of no talent but a man of curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

And in photography curiosity is the key to experimentation and exploration. Einstein<\/a> would perhaps employ his curious mind to explore details that surround us, details that we rarely see or notice, or we simply view them in a different context. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s take for example a train passing by, as a mundane item we would rarely give it more than a glance and would simply move on. But not Einstein, he would further explore the subject, view it from different angles and explore its relationship and impact with its surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the above image for example he would perhaps use the background of the sky and blend it with the water so as to create one instance of a unified colour that gives an impression of endless space and the swans would seem as if floating in space void of earth’s gravity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this next example he would perhaps use a shadow play to reflect ( theory of special relativity <\/a><\/em>) and the affect of time, or where time is viewed as an illusion as it is relative to the speed of the observer. In the photograph above, the train symbolically represents the speed transporter, while the shadows would represent a younger and an older version of the subject ( locomotive engineer ) in the photograph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
